If plans change

Moving your event to a new date, postponing it until a date is confirmed, and what happens to replies, QR codes and scheduled messages when you do.

Updated 23 October 2026

A new date

Tell us as soon as the date, time or venue changes. Once the event details are updated, every message from then on carries the new details.

When we move an event to a new date, guests’ replies stay as they are, and their invitation links and QR codes keep working. The finish time, arrival time and any scheduled messages move with it, and we’ll agree the RSVP deadline with you. The automatic QR reminders follow the new date.

Date to be confirmed

If the new date isn’t settled yet, we mark the event postponed. Automatic messages stop, and the invitation page tells guests the event is postponed instead of taking new replies. Anything scheduled to go out while it’s postponed is cancelled rather than sent late, so tell us what still needs to go once the new date is set.

Telling your guests

We never message your guests about a change on our own. We’ll draft the notice with you and send it once you’ve approved the wording, to everyone or only to the guests it affects.

If the new date is set up as a separate event, tell us whether guests who already accepted the original should be invited again, so nobody is left out. What your guests receive, and when lists who an update can go to.

Still stuck? Ask the person who invited you, or contact us.
